At Roof-A-Vet, our mission is simple: to roof veterans in need across the Seacoast region of New Hampshire at little or no cost — thanks to the generosity of donors, sponsors, and volunteers like you.
Our nation’s veterans have sacrificed so much for our freedom and safety. Whether they served on the front lines, in support roles, or behind the scenes, their dedication deserves our deepest gratitude. Sadly, too many local heroes live under roofs that are unsafe or in disrepair — and that’s something we can change together.
As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, your tax-deductible donation helps restore comfort, security, and dignity to those who have already given so much. Every nail, every shingle, every dollar makes a difference.

About the Founder
Roof-A-Vet was founded in 2021 by Jon Kenyon of Dover, New Hampshire — the same year he launched his roofing business, Professional Roofing Co.
Service runs deep in Jon’s family. His great-uncles and grandfather fought in World War II, with his grandfather surviving Pearl Harbor. Several of his uncles served in Korea and Vietnam. Today, Jon and his wife, Susan, are proud parents of three: two sons who became U.S. Marines, and a daughter who serves in Dover High School’s ROTC program.
Though Jon himself was unable to enlist in 1991, he’s found another way to serve.
“Roof-A-Vet gives me that same sense of purpose — maybe even more. Serving our veterans is better than anything I could have done in uniform. Sometimes things work out for a reason.”
Jon’s goal is simple — to bring together Seacoast communities, local businesses, and individuals to help veterans in need of safe, reliable roofs right here in New Hampshire.
